The Women's Support Project, which works against violence against women and children. We work on a broad range of issues including domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, child sexual abuse and incest. Key themes in our work have been:

We offer a telephone support and information service, covering a broad range of issues: support for women whose children have been sexually abused, sexual violence, child sexual abuse and incest, domestic violence, prostitution and other forms of commercial sexual exploitation.
Information can also be provided by letter and email, and can be accessed via our website.
We prioritise support for women whose children have been sexually abused, or where there is risk of abuse. This is a flexible service, ranging from intensive crisis support, to ongoing and long-term support, according to need. This service is aimed mainly at mothers but is open to other carers.
Women are welcome to use this service regardless of who abused their child or of when this happened. Sometimes women contact us because they suspect abuse, or because their child has spoken about abuse. On other occasions the woman may not find out about the abuse until their child has grown up. The child may have been abused by another child, by their father, stepfather or another relative, a family friend, neighbour, carer, or stranger.
For all other areas of violence we can offer a support appointment if it is not possible to
